Roma Ligocka, a Holocaust survivor, who is the inspiration for a character, the little girl in the red coat, in the film Schindler’s List. What made her stand out was the fact that the film is shot in Black and White, and the distinguishing red of the coat is one of the few instances of colour in it.
After the movie she wrote about her experiences during WW II i her novel titled The Girl In The Red Coat .
